Managing your Google connection

Endex can connect to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides to carry out tasks you ask it to perform. This page explains how to disconnect those services and how to request deletion of content Endex holds. Full details of what Endex accesses and why are in our privacy policy.

How to disconnect

  1. Open Settings → My Connectors in Endex.
  2. Find the Google service you want to disconnect.
  3. Select Disconnect.

What disconnecting does

Disconnecting revokes Endex's access to your Google account and stops any further content being retrieved from it.

Work Endex has already completed stays available to you, including any Google content used in it. Disconnecting stops new content coming in; it doesn't remove what's already there.

Revoking access through Google

You can also revoke Endex's access directly from your Google account, without going through Endex:

Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, find Endex in the list, and select Remove access.

This immediately cuts off Endex's access to your Google data.

Deleting content

You can delete Google files Endex holds yourself. Go to your uploaded files in Endex and delete the ones you want removed.

For anything you can't remove that way, or to request deletion across your account, contact your organization's Endex administrator. Endex accesses Google content on behalf of your organization, which controls how long it's retained.

You can also email privacy@endex.ai with the Google account you connected and which services you're asking about. We'll confirm receipt and coordinate with your organization where our agreement with them requires it.

For administrators

Google Workspace administrators can control Endex's access across your domain from the Google Admin console, under third-party app access. This lets you allow, restrict, or block Endex for all users, independently of what individual users choose.
