Endex's Year in Review: Our Top Launches

This year we set out to reimagine what's possible in Excel.
Since our launch, we've shipped features that fundamentally expand what finance professionals can do in their spreadsheets. Every release brings us closer to our goal of a fully agentic future in Excel by 2026.
Below are the features our partners have been most excited about.
Complex Model Building
We introduced model building, where users construct financial models from scratch using natural language. Describe the structure you need, the assumptions you're working with, and Endex creates a working model directly in Excel.
Model building reflects months of collective work from our in-house team across private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, and real estate. As a result, Endex thinks and produces like an in-house finance professional.
For many of our users, this has become the starting point for every new project.
Template Fill-In
However, not every model starts from zero.
Template fill-in lets you take existing templates and populate them instantly with relevant data.
What used to be hours of copying, pasting, and double-checking is now seconds of review. In 2025, analysts shouldn't be wasting time manually transferring data.
Expanding Data Integrations
Endex's mission is to meet financial teams directly where they work. With public filings integration, users can pull filings and earnings data from CapIQ, Factset, and Visible Alpha directly into their models.
We're also excited to announce a new partnership with Hellodata, expanding our coverage of real estate and alternative data.
For power users, Endex even supports building models using Factset codes natively.
Charting
This feature reflects a broader product philosophy that Endex should support the full arc of a deal, from initial analysis through final deliverable. Build the model, tell the story.
Cohort Retention
Finally, we shipped Cohort Retention analysis for our private equity teams. "Does your tool do cohort retention?" was among the most common questions after launch. An infamously tedious task is now automatable inside Endex.
This is the kind of specialized analysis that used to require custom builds or external tools. Now it's a prompt away.
